2012 was a banner year for Open Gardens Constantia. The weather and plants and the gardeners and the volunteers and the pets and the visitors and the tea and the cake – all behaved impeccably in the two days that the selected gardens were open to the public. Ticket sales hit the roof and OGC was very happy to be able to donate the event’s profits to two organizations of whom we think the world: Abalimi Bezekhaya and Soil for Life.
